Client Spotlight

Bringing educational content to life

The client wanted to create the US English Course to help adult professionals communicate more confidently in both work and personal settings. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar, and cultural fluency, using scenario-based activities to give learners practical skills they can apply immediately.

As the Learning Experience Designer, I brought this vision to life by designing the course structure and page layout, refining content into engaging, learner-ready materials, and managing the project timeline and deliverables to ensure a smooth launch.

Project Goals

  • Strengthen the instructional design approach to prioritize learner engagement.

  • Develop the initial course page design, color scheme, and layout.

  • Create reusable course page templates for the client to use independently.

  • Revise the original written content into course-ready modules and visuals.

  • Design initial learner self-paced activities.

  • Deliver client training on LearnPress course design and development tools.

Instructional Design Approach

  • This design approach aligns with experiential learning, constructivist principles, and problem-based learning, ensuring learners engage with realistic tasks, reflect on their performance, and build skills through authentic self-directed practice and feedback.

  • Assessment Strategy: Combined formative assessments throughout modules with a summative, project-based capstone.

  • Learning Media: Developed video scripts for introducing key concepts and paired them with hands-on application activities.
